Students of Truly Dancing Dressage
Jenny Lipton & Second Chance
Jackie has owned "Phantom" for over two
years now and has been taking lessons with Fallon
since soon after he was purchased. Jackie had a
very successful year of competing In-Hand at
competitions like Dressage at Delaware, the
Mid-Ohio Classic, the National In-Hand
Championships and Dressage at Devon where they
were named In-Hand Grand Champions in 2007.
Last year, Phantom was Reserve Champion in the
Year End Awards for Training Level scoring up to a
67%. He was also ranked fourth for the
Performance Horse Registry Silver Stirrup Award.
In 2008, this pair have successfully competed at
First Level scoring consistently in the mid 60's and
receiving great results from highly ranked judges.
Phantom was named Reserve Champion High
Score at the Dressage at Grand Haven show at
First Level with a 66%+. Congratulations Jackie
and Phantom! We can't wait for next year!

Cindy Babb & "Calvin" (Florestan II/Fortissimo)
Cindy bought Calvin in January of 2007. He had
been recently imported from one of the top
breeding farms in Germany. Cindy and Calvin are a
great team. They competed at several shows with
us this year and showed great improvement every
time they entered the show ring. Calvin is very
talented and loves to compete. In addition to
preparing for the Spring competitions, they are
working on their half pass, counter canter and
flying changes.
Cindy was chosen to carry the American flag during
the opening ceremonies of the 2010 World
Equestrian Games that will be held in Lexington,
Ky. at the Kentucky Horse Park. Of course, she
will ride Calvin during the opening ceremony. What
an honor to be chosen for such an important
position, but we can't think of anyone who would
deserve it more.
Jenny Lipton, and her wonderful mare "Chance",
have been working with Fallon for almost two years
now. Jenny started riding hunters when she was
young and bought Chance several years ago to
start a partnership together. They recently began
schooling dressage and are doing great!
Fallon absolutely loves Chance and sneaks her
sugar cube anytime she gets the "chance".
They are working towards competing at First and
Second level and will hopefully attend some of the
shows this Spring. In addition to dressage, they
have competed in the hunter and jumper ring and
have even evented a few times. Chance loves to
jump and always gets excited when she gets to go
to the cross country course. Jenny is also one of
the best braiders around and when our horses look
extra spiffy, Jenny's the one to thank.
Sean Gatton & Elliott Ness (Evergreen/Wanderer)
Sean began riding at Schwung Farm two years ago.
He rode Lincoln for a few months while looking for
a horse of his own. He has been into horses most of
his life, but had to take a few years off due to
college. Now he is back with his 5 year old
Hanoverian gelding Elliott Ness. Elliott comes from
some great German breeding lines and this really
shows. He has lovely gaits and is a very talented
boy. Sean and Elliott have done very well at
several shows this year and are preparing for First
and Second level this season.
In addition to riding, Sean is also a super show
groom. He is always there when you need him and
is very handy with a pitch fork. He is a very
talented photographer and we are always excited
when he brings his camera to the shows. You will
find many of his great shots all over the Schwung
Farm website. Thanks Sean!
The Bath Pony Club
Fallon was asked to begin teaching for the Bath
Pony Club in 2006. She truly enjoys working with
the many great kids that belong to this large rising
club. She teaches 15 to 20 students for BPC and
loves to watch their progress. Many of them are
successfully competing in dressage, hunters,
jumpers and eventing. Here are some photos from
the 2007 Pony Club Rating.
