*Schwung Farm sales agreement: (Posted August 15th of 2006)
~ We do not allow our horses to leave the farm on a trial basis.
- If you are interested in purchasing a horse we have offered for sale, we invite you to come and
try our horses as many times as you wish at our facilities. If we have personally competed a
horse we are offering for sale, we will be happy to provide proof of this and competition
records if necessary.
~ If you are interested in scheduling a pre-purchase exam, we will hold the horse in your name with
a 10% deposit pending a clean finding of the exam.
- Your deposit will not be refunded if the horse receives a satisfactory finding on the exam. Your
deposit will not be refunded if you decide to back out of the sale at any time for any reason
other than an un-satisfactory finding from the pre-purchase exam.
~ A potential buyer may chose the licensed veterinarian to perform the pre-purchase exam.
- Schwung Farm can provide contacts for a variety of veterinarians in our area that are not used
by our farm. SF reserves the right to decline a chosen veterinarian for just cause.
~ Your vet check will be video taped.
- If you or your trainer cannot be present for the pre-purchase exam, the exam including flexion
tests, neurological exam and any drawing of blood will be documented by video.
