Guilliani wins at Dressage at Grand Haven!

Guilliani showed in the USEF First Level Test 4 Open for the first
time ever on June 9th at Grand Haven Stables. Although he is only
four years old, Fallon entered him in this test to receive their First
Level Freestyle qualification score. Guilliani did fantastic winning the
class with a 66.7%! Judge William Solyntjes loved him and gave him
9's on his lengthenings and told Fallon that he believes he is capable
of receiving very high marks.
Guilliani receives almost an 80% at the KDA Show!

We were all extremely proud of Guilliani at this competition. On the
first day, he received top placing in the Suitability for Dressage class
and judge Debbie Riehl-Rodriguez told Fallon that he was a joy to
watch! Later in the week, Guilliani received a 7.95 in the USEF Four
Year Old Test. Four out of five of his marks were above an 8.0 and
judge Trip Harting thought Guilliani was a top young horse candidate.
He commented on his free shoulders and correct, relaxed rhythm
through his entire test. Guilliani got plenty of treats that evening!
Guilliani qualified for Markel/USEF YH Championships!

Guilliani had a great showing at the first major show of the year. He
entered the USEF Four Year Old Test during the Paxton Farm CDI
Cincinnati and Spring Classic I & II. His very first time down
centerline proved to be a great one. Judges Maryal Barnett and
Marianne Ludwig gave Guilliani a 69% and a 70% which qualified
him for the Nation Young Horse Dressage Championships in Sept.'07.
Both judges loved Guiilaini's character and movement.
Guilliani was the top scoring Young Horse at Mid-Ohio!

Each judge agreed that Guilliani is a top Young Horse candidate by
giving him a final score of 7.82 which won the YH class at the
Mid-Ohio Classic I. The gaits and overall impression scores were 8.0,
but due to a very distracted start to this test, the submission score was
dropped to a 7.8. Judges Geike and Poulin told Fallon that they were
very happy that she decided to bring Guilliani to this competition last
minute. They also commented that even with a rough start, the natural
swing and expression in all three gaits still showed through. Fallon
wants to thank her mother for all of the help and training she gave this
weekend. These results would not have been possible without her!
First Level Open High Score at NODA Dressage 2007!

"I truly enjoyed watching every moment of your test." said "S" judge
Marylin Heath at the NODA Dressage 2007 on July 28-29. Guilliani
won the First Level 4 Open class with a 73.7% receiving a 9 on his
gaits. The judge also commented that she believes Guilliani is a
"Super talented young horse..." Of course we all agree!
On Saturday, Guilliani competed in his first freestyle ever. Despite a
bit of tension when he first heard the music, the test went great and
scored a 68.5 which placed 3rd out of the 9 freestyle rides. Everyone
loved his music and it received 85 points for Artistic Impression!
First Level High Score Champion. Second show in a row!

Guilliani was the First Level Open High Score Champion at the
Dressage at Grand Haven Stables show on August 11th & 12th. He
won the First 4 Open with over a 67%! Judge Tom Poulin commented
on Guilliani's powerful canter work and balanced, rhythmical trot.
Earlier in the show, Guilliani competed his First Level Freestyle for the
second time. He placed 4th out of the eight freestyle rides and received
great marks for his music and choreogaphy. He is still getting used to
the music away from home, but he is starting to love the attention he
receives afterwards!
Guilliani is invited to the YH Championships!

On August 21st, the United States Dressage Federation contacted
Fallon letting her know that Guilliani was on the list of the top twenty
horses in the United States that will be invited to compete at the
Markel/USEF Young Horse National Dressage Championships.
They will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky on
September 13th through the 16th.Guilliani is one the small handful of
US bred horses to qualify for the Finals. He qualified for a spot on the
nomination list during his first test of the year at the Paxton CDI
Cincinnati and Spring Classic. Later, he scored a 7.95 at the KDA
Spring Classic and was the highest scoring young horse at the
Mid-Ohio Classic I by winning the USEF 4 Year Old division. Guilliani
consistently scored over an 8.0 for all three of his gaits and was highly
awarded for his expressive, rhythmical way of going. Fallon feels very
blessed to work with such a gifted young horse. She is now looking
forward to taking him to the finals with the help of her trainer and
mother, Kelly Walker.
Guilliani places 3rd at the US Young Horse Finals

Only 0.34 points behind the leader, Willy Arts, Guilliani placed
3rd during the USEF Four Year Old Warm-Up Test at the YH
Finals. Despite the fact that Fallon mounted Guilliani only seven
minutes prior to her start time, he still managed to prove why he
deserves to be right behind Willy Arts' fabulous Waterloo and the
well known Jan Brons' Willa. Judges Marianne Ludwig and
Jeanne McDonald gave scores as high as an 8.3 for Guilliani's
gaits and were impressed with his ability to go in and show so
much quality on such a small amount of warm-up. Saturday

Guilliani finishes fifth highest scoring US bred 4 Y/O!

Although the absolutely electric atmosphere got to Guilliani a few
times during his championship test, he still finished eleventh in the
nation and was the fifth highest scoring US bred horse. With one
of the highest scored walks during the competition (8.3), Guilliani
continued to prove his immense talent and natural abilities to the
large panel of judges.
Judge Anne Gribbons commented that it was unfortunate that he
was so distracted during this test and they all agreed that he
shows a good overall impression. Next stop is Dressage at Devon!
Great results from Dressage at Devon!

Guilliani was in top form to finish out the year at Dressage at
Devon. Finishing fifth out of the large Open USEF 4 Year Old
class, Guilliani received great comments from each of the judges.
After the test, S Judge Lois Yukins commented that Guilliani
looked as though he was enjoying himself through the entire test
and his contact with the bit couldn't have been better. Both judges
finished by saying that Guilliani made them smile and he looked
like a horse they would enjoy riding.
There were many absolutely incredible horses at Devon and it is
an honor to be place at the top of a class full of the best!

Guilliani starts the 2008 season off with a win!

The Lake Erie College Winter Series Dressage Show on
November 9-11 was the first competition of the 2008 show
season. Guilliani won the USDF Open Freestyle Test of Choice
class with a new freestyle. Fallon chose some classic Christmas
music by Bing Crosby with this competition being so close to the
holidays. Guilliani showed great highlights in the trot and canter
lengthenings and some super walk work. Judge Marylin Payne
commented that Guilliani is a "Lovely young horse!" After the
music scores, she also commented that she feels that Guilliani has
great potential and that the music matched him perfectly!
Guilliani featured in the Hanoverian Magazine

Guilliani was featured in the December issue of the Hanoverian
Magazine for his recent success in the competition arena. Look
for him in the Markel Young Horse Finals article. Noted are his
results from the KDA Spring Classic Dressage Show and the
Mid-Ohio Classic I where he was FEI Young Horse High Score
with a mark of 78.000%. Good work Guilliani!

Guilliani wins his Second Level debut!!

Guilliani made his debut at Second Level at the Grand Haven Dressage Show on
June 8th, 2008. He won the Second Level Test 1 Open receiving many 8's from S
Judge Charlotte Trentelman. She commented that he is a "Really nice young horse
with great potential!". Although he was a bit nervous being competed in some
strong wind, he scored 8's on his simple changes, mediums and his gait scores.
Fallon is looking very forward to competing Guilliani at the Paxton Farm Summer
Classic at Second Level and in the FEI 5 Year Old Tests. Great work Guilliani!
Guilliani scores nearly 80% in the FEI 5 Year Old Test!

Guilliani scored a 79.2% during his first time out in the FEI 5 Year Old Test at the
Paxton Farm Summer Classic from Judge Margaret Freeman. She commented on
the elasticity in all three gaits and the great use of his hind leg. She told Fallon that
she is doing a great job in bringing along such a talented young horse. The next
day, Judge Trip Harting gave Guilliani a score of 74.6% and told Fallon that he is
heading in the right direction in his training.
Guilliani also placed 4th in the Markel/USEF YH Qualifier and was the second
highest scoring horse in the entire FEI 5 Year Old division all weekend. Fallon
feels extremely proud and blessed to be able to work with such a talented young
horse and looks forward to their future together.
Guilliani winning at Second Level!

At only 5 years old, Guilliani has been quite consistent at Second
Level and in the FEI 5 Year Old classes. He has won his Second
Level Open classes at Dressage at Grand Haven, WPDA
Dressage and Grand Haven August Dressage shows. He has
received "8's" on his simple changes, 10m circles, trot and canter
mediums and on his gaits and impulsion collectives. He is such a
special little horse and is always waiting to make you laugh!
Guilliani will be finishing this season at Second Level at the
Region II Championships at Paxton Farm next month.
Success at Paxton Farm!

Guilliani had a great outing at the Dressage at Paxton Farm show
held with the Region II Finals on September 18-21. He placed 3rd
out of 7 in the Second Level TOC with a score of 64%. He went
on to win the Second Level TOC out of 13 rides on Saturday!  
Both judges commented on the good activity of his hind leg and the
suspension in his medium gaits. Guilliani has shown throughout this
year that he is capable of receiving 8's on all of the movements at
Second Level and he is currently preparing for his debut at Third
Level in the 2009 season.

2008 Year End Awards

Guilliani was named the 2008 Second Level Open Champion for
the Northern Ohio Dressage Association. He also won the
Grand Haven 2008 Dressage Series Award at Second Level Open.

We are all extremely proud of Guilliani and feel honored to have
such a gifted horse in our barn. Fallon looks forward to the 2009
competition season which will be their fourth year together and
prays for continued success with this great young horse.
