Sonik is Fallon's Grand Prix horse. They have been together for nine years now and he is definitely the barn favorite. He will be 15 years old this year. Fallon rescued him in 1999 and slowly brought him back to health. Because of this, they have a very special bond together. Together they have been the Horse and Rider of the Year for 1999, 2000, 2001 & 2002 and have received numerous championships at each level from Training thru FEI. In 2003, Sonik was named the FEI High Score and FEI Freestyle Champion. He is a very sensitive, forward thinking horse with a lot of unique character that he caries into all his work. Many top international judges have commented on the special way he carries himself and his great talent for lateral work. International Judge Cara Witham"O" wrote, "Great little horse!", after Sonik placed second in the FEI Freestyle class at the Dressage in Detroit ZADA CDI***. Although he is small, he thinks of himself quite highly.... and so do we.
Malachi is one of Fallons top FEI horses. He is a 9 year old KWPN gelding by Iron Spring Farm's stallion Rampal. Malachi was purchased in 2003 and was schooling 1st & 2nd level. After only 4 months together, Fallon and Malachi won their first PSG Open at the Kentucky Horse Park. They went on to qualify for regionals at PSG and Int.1 in that same year. The next year, they were stronger and more prepared for FEI work, which resulted in higher scores and the added brilliance and exression that made Malachi shine. In 2005, they qualified for PSG and Int.1 during the first two competitions of the year! Malachi and Fallon were ranked 10th overall in US Dressage Federation at Intermediare 1 and they scored 132 points for FEI dressage in US Equestrian Federation. Malachi was also one of the top offspring for ISF Rampal at FEI dressage for 2004 & 2005. He has great talent for all of the Grand Prix work and is overall one of the most outstanding horses that we have ever worked with.
This is Go Go Hossanna. She was one of Fallon's first show ponies. She was a 5 year old 14h Morgan cross mare and was a truly great part of Fallon's riding career. They started off doing hunters and after two years decided to make the transition into the jumper ring. They went up to Training Jumpers and evented through Training level eventing. Fallon and "Hosie" were at eye level with some of the jumps they took, but Hosie never thought twice. Once Fallon outgrew her, she was sold to a wonderful family in Barrington Hills, Illinios for their two daughters to learn on. We are happy to say that she is doing very well and I'm sure she is making a huge impact on the many young girls that will ride her.
Guilliani is a 2003 US Hanoverian gelding by Widmark/Bolero. He ranked at the top of the nation in the USEF 4 Year Old division in 2007 and won a Rolling Stone FEI Young Horse Award (4th place) for his outstanding achievements. He also won many High Score Awards at First Level in 2007 and is continuing to win now at Second Level. He has placed at the top of many large FEI Young Horse classes at the Paxton Farm Spring Classic & CDI*** Cincinnati, the Mid-Ohio Classic and Dressage at Devon, consistently receiving marks above an 8.0 for all three gaits. Guilliani was chosen as a demonstration horse for the FEI Young Horse Clinics with Scott Hassler and Heike Kemmer. His expressive gaits, stunning conformation and exceptional work ethic make him a great candidate for the FEI 6 Year Old Division and US Selection Trials for 2009.
This is TDD's schoolmaster Wentworth. He is 5 years old and is currently working well at dressage and over fences. He has been just about the sweetest horse we have ever had through Schwung Farm and was always kind and forgiving to all of the various riders who took lessons on him. When he was sold, there was a big empty spot in everyone's hearts for quite some time. He gave many children a great start on horseback and many adults a great feel for correctness. Wentworth will be greatly missed by many.
This is Leviticus 7. He is a 4 year old 17h American Warmblood gelding. Although he was mainly Kelly's horse, I began riding him while she healed from a shoulder injury. After a few rides, I was quite happy to continue with him. He was a very large, supple mover and could cover a lot of ground. He had a canter that you could ride forever and was very talented in his extension work. Even though my rides where cut a little short when he sold in the Fall, I still remember what a joy he was to ride. "Levi" is definitely on the top of my list.
This is Oliver. He is a six year old American Warmblood gelding. He was very fun and the family that bought him describes him as a little sports car to ride. He was quite hot and always wanted to work hard for his rider. When we bought him and had finished his starting under saddle, we quickly realized his extreme talent and potential. He had a lovely aptitude for collection in all three gaits and had beautiful flying changes. He was schooling third level when he was sold and later that Summer, Oliver was Champion at Lendon Grey's Dressage 4 Kids Show at her wonderful farm in Bedford, New York. Oliver is currently competing successfully at Second level with his Junior rider and will hopefully become a great FEI horse someday.
This is Lincoln, a 6 year old American Warmblood gelding. He came to Schwung Farm in February of 2006 after a rough start in life. Since then, he has been making great progress. He is comfortable with his surroundings and is becoming very confident. He shows much potential and has three incredible gaits. Fallon truly enjoys riding him and always says that he reminds her of her great FEI horse Malachi when he first arrived at Schwung Farm. "Beanie" loves going out in the field for a nice relaxing gallop and even likes going over all of the cross country jumps. He is quite handsome and loves any attention that he can get. He is quite a special guy.
