Welcome to the website of Truly Dancing Dressage! Truly Dancing Dressage is owned & operated by FEI rider, trainer & competitor Fallon Walker. TDD is currently based out of Schwung Farm, a private training facility located in NE Ohio. In addition to the full time riding, training & managing done at Schwung Farm, Fallon has also been a serious dressage competitor through FEI for many years. She has worked with many types of horses at many different levels and stages of training. From starting young horses undersaddle and taking them to their first competitions, to finishing several international quality horses to Grand Prix, she has had much success at all levels of competition. Her horses have been ranked in the US Horse of the Year standings several times and have been given top honors by many highly ranked judges from Training level through FEI. Recently, her FEI horses Malachi & Sonik have been quite successful ranking 10th in the US at FEI and placing 2nd in the FEI Small Tour Freestyle at the Detriot ZADA CDI***. In 2007, her lovely young Hanoverian gelding Guilliani (Widmark/Bolero) was chosen as a demonstration mount for the FEI Young Horse Symposiums with US YH Coach Scott Hassler and German Olympic Gold Medalist Heike Kemmer. Later in 2007, Fallon & Guilliani ranked 5th in the nation for the USEF Young Horse Program. They were also selected as finalists to compete at the Markel/USEF Young Horse National Dressage Championships & in Dressage at Devon's International Open YH class for Four Year Olds. During the finals, they placed 3rd & 5th with scores as high as a 78.0%. In 2008, Fallon will be competing in the USEF Four Year Old & the FEI Five Year Old divisions & is currently preparing her next FEI horse for his first season at Grand Prix. She is accepting new clients for 2009 and is available for clinics in the US. Schwung Farm has been very successful in importing select horses from Europe. We have contacts at several private training facilities & elite auction sites in Europe. **Recent show results from Truly Dancing Dressage** ~ Jackie Lipton and her 4 year old Phantom are currently ranked 5th in the nation at First Level for the PHR and will be 2nd in the nation for the IGGHR. They have done great this season never scoring below a 60% and consistently placing at the top of several large classes. Congratulations Jackie and Phantom! ~ Guilliani scored nearly 80% on his first FEI 5 Year Old Test at the Paxton Summer Classic. Congratulations! ~ Guilliani received a Rolling Stone Farm FEI Young Horse Award for the FEI Four Year Old Division in 2007. Fifth place in the nation! ~ Fallon's student Brandi Podboy and her great pony Mario Cart won their division at the Grand River Hunt Mini Trials on June 22nd. Great work Brandi! ~ Guilliani placed 5th out of over 20 entrants in the Open USEF 4 Year Old Test at the prestigious Dressage at Devon in September. ~ Guilliani placed third during the Markel/USEF Young Horse National Dressage Championships Warm-up Test (7.8) and finished eleventh overall in the finals! He was also the fifth highest scoring US bred horse in the 4 year old division of the YH Championships. Good job Guilliani! ~ Fallon's student Cindy Babb and her 5 year old Westfalen gelding "Calvin" will be carrying the American flag during the opening ceremonies for the 2010 World Equestrian Games, which will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park. | 2008 Year End Awards The year awards banquet for the Northern Ohio Dressage Association was this past weekend and TDD came away with some wonderful awards! Fallon and Guilliani was Overall Champions at Second Level Open and in the GH Series. Jackie Lipton and Phantom were Champion and Reserve Champion at Training and First Level Jr/Yr and the same in the GH Series at Training and First Level Jr/Yr with great scores! I am very proud of our group and want to thank my mother Kelly for all of her training and the support she has given all of us this year. |
